    Maybe I'm old fashioned, or possibly completely mad, but I still think a striker who can score 18 goals by the end of February is probably worth a place in any team. It's a brave new world, this, where goals don't matter up front and clean sheets are irrelevant further back.

    Why do we want Winnall dropping into midfield though?! He's not a Bergkamp type player is he? We want him in the box getting on the end of chances from our wingers.

    There are different types of strikers. Winnall is a typical number 9, not a 10.

    Didn't we play Williams in the number 10 role against Burton? He was awful

    IMO Reds Fan he can't do it when hes too far upfront. At times against Doncaster, second half and first half at Crewe. What can he honestly do.

    I don't know every defender in the league so I think right our best CB, Mawson. How can our strikers cause Mawson problems. Watkins, easy. Run in behind. Fletcher. Hold the ball.

    Winnall...put the ball in the net...that's what he does...and he's done it 18 times already this season. It's ludicrous to be even debating his importance to the team

    Funny you think I'm being critical of anything, when you don't seem to be able to give our 18 goal a season striker any credit whatsoever. In fact you are going to extraordinary lengths to discredit him.

    Seriously, you need to take a step back from your pre-determined agenda, and witness what is happening. Stop grasping at any frail bit of "evidence" you can find to support what is a non-story in the first place.
