    Doubt it. I'm sure charity shield winners have probably been in FA cup finals.

    Only assuming mind. Especially as semi finals are at Wembley too.

    No - Bradford, Capital One Cup final and play off final.
    S****horpe also did the JPT final and Play Off final in 09.

    FA Cup and League Cup double has been achieved three times: Not sure whether any of these were in Cardiff - or do you mean "new" wembley.

    1992-93: Arsenal
    2000-01: Liverpool
    2006-07: Chelsea

    That's winners.

    I'm sure there'll be more league cup and fa cup "finalist" doubles....in fact I'd put money on Wednesday having bottled it twice in one season at Wembley.

    Opps sorry guys I must apologise here. The finals were 1 at Hampden and 1 at Wembley. The rest of the question is correct.

    Lost to Arsenal in the League Cup Final
    They beat Blades in the FA Cup Semi Final
    Drew with Arsenal in the FA Cup Final
    Lost in the Final replay

    OK the player in question was Roger Hunt.

    Played for Liverpool at Hampden v Dortmund losing 1-0 the other cup final was a little spoke about Wembley cup final at Wembley which he won.
