Of initial allocation. 21,205 sold. Cant see us selling out. Surely their isn't 4000 people leaving it this late to buy tickets.
I'm always amazed about the number who pay on the day for away games. Still another pay day to go. 24k we will take. They will take 10k more but we will outsing. That's my prediction anyway
The figures are slightly skewed by the way we are opening blocks compared to how Oxford opened theirs. There does seem to be people waiting for front of block seats and maybe others for a behind of goal view.
Bondy posted last night about the blocks not being opened until 25k sold which doesn't seem to fit with available on the interactive map i reckon less than 400 available. I know a mate at work who is a season ticket holder who along with 6 mates who haven't got em yet, due to being idle but also wanting frontish rows
You can see where our allocation ends on the seating plan. Block 546 is red, but has greyed out seat symbols in it. All the other red blocks on the upper tier are completely blank when you click on them.
Looking at the seating map, we've only got 39 empty seats in the bottom tier and 23 in the middle tier. There's nothing thing like 4000 empty seats left in the top tier blocks that they've made available. May be I'll have a count up when I'm board shitless or when Coronation Streets on.
Top tier has 307 green dots in the blocks allocated to us. Adding this with the other two tiers it comes to 369 empty seats. If the blocks on show add up to 25000, It doesn't make sense.
There's the £20 tickets at the back of Blocks 547, 548 and 549 that they didn't release. They opened those blocks so that people could get seats at the front and left those at the back greyed out.
Like I said earlier in the thread, there's also Block 546, which is red at the moment, but has greyed-out seat symbols in it. That is also part of our allocation and will be opened eventually.
Some of the latest blocks 547,548 etc have only opened up the front half, the back half have not been released and showing as unavailable. Still l can't see looking at both interactive maps where their extra 8,000 is. If it was at Old Trafford they wouldn't have brought anywhere near 25k
The whole bottom tier holds 34,303 and the middle holds 16,532 that's 50,835. Taking off the 2 blocks they've given to the football league which holds around 2,000 leaves around 48,835 split between us and Oxford. So on them figures I'd say we've sold 24,000 in the bottom and middle tier. Adding to that the tickets we've sold in the top tier around 3,000. In a nut shell I'm sure we've sold more than 21,205 tickets, who know lol
Still a decent figure for the JPT, In comparison Rotherham took 20k and Donny 18k to their league 1 play off finals - a much more important game. Donny did sell 21k before John Ryan returned the rest but 3k had been purchased by Leeds fans. I think if we get to Wembley again in the play offs we would take a lot more.
