Hecky making constructive criticism of first half today

Not giong over board on the win.looking at where we need to improve.looking at where we can get better. On Radio Sheffield tonight.sensibly what we need to do to cut mistakes out and be prepared for next game.

 

Very impressive interview....

 

I heard the interviews with Hecky, Adkins and Fergie Jr. 3 very different interviews.

We won, Paul focused first of all on the poor first half performance and how we needed to improve jn the 2nd half. Said we still didn't play to our best but did what was required. Insinuated that we didn't play at our best but we played well enough and can improve.

Adkins comments on a late, and rather fortuitous draw with Fleetwood was that Sheffield United were brilliant and unlucky.

Fergie Jnr was blunt and honest about Doncaster saying that they were poor, deserved to lose and are in a battle. Said he'd be happy with 5th bottom but made a point of highlighting that they were 2nd bottom when he took over.

Of the three, I'm so grateful we have Hecky in charge. Not trying to pull the wool over people's eyes like Adkins, and not too blunt and demotivating like Ferguson.

Tells it how it is, always looking for room for improvement.

I heard the Hecky and Adkins interviews and concur with Archey. I thought Adkins was describing a Barcelona match he'd seen recently.
