Saw a few negative comments on here after cov game about him (I wasn't at the Coventry game) but today thought he had a really good game imo. Mom probley brownhill but thought was worth a mention for George he is doing great to say the step up he has made.

Thought he was brilliant against Coventry and even better today.

Out of our full backs he's by far the best defender. Doesn't carry the ball as well as Bree but he's growing on confidence and now putting some excellent balls in with both left or right.

We have to remember that this is his first season as a full time pro and he has stepped up impressively.. Last year he had Uni to complete. This, and next year I think that he will get better and better.

Absolutely delighted for him, he's cemented his place in the team.

Wilson bought him in last season, barely gave him a chance bar the odd sub appearance, then LeeJay came in and seemed to forget all about him until the first game of this season where we seemed desperate after Holgate's move to Everton, he made a howler and went out on loan with his Barnsley career looking all but over. But he knuckled down and took his chance exceptionally well when it came, and now he looks a quality league 1 full back with years ahead of him.

Yes Lee Jay loved to drop young lads after one mistake bree and williams Davies. Can't do that with young lads they will make mistakes but it's part of the learning process. Williams did well against a trike player in saywer first half. Admittedly wasn't many critics after Coventry on here just odd few.

i like him. considering his age and the time he spent out of the setup, i think he's been brilliant. i still expect aidy white to come straight back in like, but i imagine he does as well. i feel completely confident in him though.
