    have to take you up on this one barnsley Loyal.
    Never seen you in ?
    The room is what it is as its used as an educational facility in the week and the Volunteers do their best to make it more football homely with memorabilie on the walls :game on telly : Ex players come in for Q and A`s and the ale is better quality and cheaper than that dross that`s served in town (7 excepted )
    Bang next to ground ? if Redfearns gets much nearer to the ground we will be on the half way line!!!!!!!
    Each to their own though xxxxx
    theres very few of the "old style " social clubs left : I used to luv chesterfield and torquay

    Rochdale also has a brilliant one. But the best by far is the one at Notts County.

    Not a far of redfearns either mate, not knocking the lads who run it. Just hasn't got much feel to it. Doesn't help with it being so small bit there is the much that can be done about that.

    High income clubs like Rochdale, Notts County and Walsall can afford social clubs and video screens. We can't compete.

    It wasn't a dig mate just giving my opinion . I understand it's not a pub hence the reason it doesn't feel like one haha

    The volunteers do a great job but I would rather Sit it a pub prior to the game. It lacks atmosphere to me and that's the reason I don't attend .

    Give me Walsall social club anytime over redfearns

    Agree that the old style social clubs have that "feel" and theres no one who appreciates them more than me (as well as you barnsley Loyal)
    Not taken as a dig Barnsley Loyal;
    Fans have wanted some where to go at the ground for the last 20 years so some support some dont - people choice.
    One thing that Redfearns does - it brings fans together in one place - not the Mount:Hoyle Mill : Metty : 7 : Courthouse: Chennels etc etc (even though the capacity is only 175)
    see thi on Row K on saturday
