Whilst ideally Hammill and Winnall should start every game if available. I'm not sure how you can drop anyone. I'd go unchanged and bring Hammill and Winnall on if needs be early in the 2nd half. Sent from my I-Oven using the internets
I watched the game back on Player yesterday afternoon and after Brownhill I felt Fletcher stood out the most. Looked an absolute star. He should have given Chapman the ball back with that one two but other than that, he did everything right in my opinion. And I wouldn't like to drop him. But, I would always start Winnall. For reasons I don't need to explain. And I think Winnall with Watkins works very well, with Fletcher a fantastic impact player from the bench. It's only my opinion though, and mine doesn't count for much, Hecky's does though. And I'm happy to go with whatever he selects. We have a confident set of players now who all seem to be staking a claim. I've no agendas. It doesn't make my day any worse or better if one player plays well over another. I've no point to make to folk. The players do though. And I only hope, every game/week, that the XI selected give it their very best for the club and supporters. But my opinion is that I'd always play a fit and available Hammill and Winnall.
Bang on that whitey. Can't add any more. In Hecky we trust. Each and every player deserves support and if they don't start? Come on and prove why they should next game. I'm bloody uneasy by all this. I actually worked out a scenario where we play Wigan on last game to go up. Thank god I had a funeral today to stop me getting really giddy. COYR!!
Isgrave was wnak even by his own low standards on Saturday, must have lost the ball a dozen times in the first half. I think it's now 25 games with a paltry 2 assists and no goals for a supposed winger playing alongside a dominant centre midfield and behind strikers scoring for fun. He's lucky if he makes the bench if everyone's back for mine. Southend is a massive game as they are one of our main potential play-off rivals and, based on the away game, will be physical and dirty. I'd go with Scowen on the right of midfield and Hammill on the left, W and W up front, with Chapman and Fletcher to come on and make merry as their defenders tire later on. Unlike his predecessor I trust whatever Hecky comes up with though.
Terrible analysis of Isgrove. You obviously don't watch football properly if you can't see what adds to our game. Why change things so dramatically and play Scowen out of position? We're the best side in the league at the minute we should let Southend worry about us. Scowen was poor at Bury his performance hampered our game. Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk
I'd compare him with Kadeem Harris. Exciting at times, works hard out of possession too but his end product often lets him down. I like him. I'm not usually arsed who scores, but if I could choose the next scorer for us it'd be Lloyd. I think it'd set him free.
hard decision what team to play at moment , whoever misses out will be unlucky as they are all playing well .
Is grove has played non stop for the past 3 months. Won't hurt to rest him. Hammill back in Sam on't bench. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Same here. Isgrove doesn't know where the net is even though he's played loads for us and Chapman has already got us a goal. Be very harsh to drop Chapman.
Nowt up with Isgrove - but Hammill is more of a threat. And no one has suggested dropping Watkins for Winnall............which shows how much the fans now appreciate the work Watkins does. Great player.
