To say that Barnsley football club have done anything because of simply 3/5 players is deeply disrespectful.

To describe things lucky and telling Mr Cryne he should be warned of this strategy's quite simply bonkers. Firstly who the hell are you to start telling him hes been warned and to say it's wrong when quite frankly it's something that's been a success and the only way Barnsley can long term improve.

The club need to add value and make wealth within the team and buying young talented players was the only way of doing this. Tottenham/Southampton have been doing this for a while now and it's working. Bournemouth and Southampton got promoted out of the Championship with a lot of players that got them promoted from League one. These same players are now playing in the premier league. Not sure but I think I read 6/11 that started for Bournemouth played in league one with the cherry's

Then theres the likes of Doncaster Rovers that went old and experienced to get out of league one the last time and okay it worked but really it set the club back because they simply weren't ready for the Championship.

To question YOU on a sentence you've put. When will ANY sports team not be rebuilding. Stand Still in sport and you will go backwards because year on year sports improve and that will undoubtedly including the performers within that.

Whatever the club do this season I applauded them on sticking with what they thinks right. Having listened to the Football report with guest Mr Cryne then thats something I can't see him the owner wanting to change and thats brilliant IMO only of course.

If previous managers got their way we could have T Pope upfront lol.

We have got better since we got some experience in Phil our best players are our oldest ones so you have to suck it up.

I agree with quite a bit of the rest though. The strategy seems spot on to me alongside an experienced spine. There is middle ground out there if you look.

 

To me we've got better because of confidence and yes they are getting a little bit of luck.

Mr Cryne, Mansford, Watkins, and Taylor and the rest have built a squad with a real talent pool.

He didn't even mentioned the two that I would imagine the better clubs in England will be looking at in Mawson and Bree. They look Prem talents to me.

Early days to be talking either up though I like both. Mawson as at times struggled wth the step up to this league so it's a big leap to the prem. Bree looks a fine talent but his inexperience shows in his decision making which has cost us on occasion. The five he mentioned are our most consistent performers matching experience to talent. Not all players need to develop some are as mature at 18 as they need to be others such as Fletcher are a million miles away from premiership class at the minute but with a lot of raw potential. Like I said middle ground. I'm against the journeyman pro approach as much as you at the same time I can see the value of maturity as Kevin Long aptly demonstrated to us.
