    Cynical challenges going unpunished by the ref time and again.

    What topped it off was when their subs ran onto he pitch after the second goal and jumped on the pile on. One then sprinted down the tunnel when the ref came over to avoid being booked. Pathetic.

    Very hardworking side IMO with or without the ball..they were the first to almost every second ball ,never let us settle when we had the ball and covered our passing options very quickly resulting in us playing long balls which they mostly won due to wanting the ball more and committing nigly fouls
    We did show some quality and willingness but IMO weren't prepared for the type of game they played.

    I wouldn't call them a good side. Physical definitely, dirty and they got away with a lot of niggly challenges but they did deserve the points.

    Yes yes yes!!! The ref wasnt that bad, seems some would rather blame him than acknowledge we were shi^e! I'm hoping it gives the players a kick up the backside but as I said before fair play to Southend who did a job on us!
