simply time to learn. I go on about playing young players and that's the way I think Barnsley need to go but these players could and should learn from Southend today. They have to learn to take a foul. Slow the game down and just the simple things that aren't really anything to do with the game but are to do with winning games. Having seen the goal back the first goals a mess. Williams need to tuck in once Roberts go out to win the ball. He doesn't and Mawson and Connelly haven't a clue what do. They couldn't get tight and he finds a way through. Saying that Roberts had the warning just before that and really needs to learn when to go and when to stay. Barnett moving into that space isn't the worst thing in the world because he can't hurt you in their. Hammill really seems to struggle without the left footer behind him. Natural balance and all that. These long throw's, whats the point. Just a waste of time. Now before you get your pitch folks out reed it all and then comment. Sam Winnall needs to think tonight. Yes he was frustrated but booting the ball into the crowd isn't great. Now if he boot's it at me then fine. I could catch it or at least knock it away fairly easily. But there's some old and very young in the East Stand and it could quite have easily hit one of them. If hit them, then i'm sure he'd feel guilty. Anyway. Really annoyed. Think we need 6 wins and a draw for the play offs.
Your right about sam needs to sort all these tantrums out. We were losing at that point too no need. And hourhine would have still took pen winnall missed one earlier on v scunny away.
Fair enough Phil. We move on. Bring on next week. I feel we will beat Fleetwood. I felt uneasy about today.
Some good comments there Phil. We were always going to have an off day. Hopefully this was it and we start again next week. Players only learn from their mistakes with time and experience.
Aye. It's gone all artisan n $hit nar though. Salted caramel n that.. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Go on then. Explain that question to me. Why did you ask him that? There must be a reasoning behind it. Just curious.
Do you think I am trying to **** stir? Connor has now missed 3 out of 4 I believe. No wind up . Was a serious genuine point.
I am thick. But what does it matter whether Winnall is on the pitch if Hourihane still takes the pens? Plus we wouldn't have had a pen in the first place if Winnall had been on for Fletcher, cos Fletcher won the pen with his pace.
