Just thrown a massive tantrum on Radio Sheffield at Paul Walker. They were talking about Diego De Girolamo, Sheffield United reserve player. Brian is a big fan of his, he said in the summer that if John Stones went to Everton for £40m, then De Girolamo was worth 50. When Brian mentioned De Girolamo, Paul Walker said, "not that old chestnut" and Brian went absolutely ape **** and vowed never to speak to Paul again, calling him disgusting, then hung up. I'm not sure what he thought he said. I had to Google De Girolamo to see if he felt it was a racially motivated thing, but he's a young white lad from Chesterfield. Worth listening to, quite funny. Wouldn't be suprised they seem to give him a load of air time. One reason I don't listen any other time than after match on saturdays. Even most blunts think he is a embarrement.
I heard it and at first I thought Brian was joking, then when he got angrier and I realised he wasn't I just laughed out loud. It was surreal.
I can go months without listening to it and when I do it's the same dozen or so voices, doughnuts all.
