Yes, delighted with that. Sounds like we weren't great today but good enough. Well done you super reds.

I was making fun of the pikeys ,can't see how you thought that was aimed at you other than I highlighted your post but only because I've seen your previous posts on the pikeys.

Bit of a mix up here, I thought I'd press the smiley emoticons. I thought the post was funny. Sorry for confusion.

No problem. I like many others was shouting for them when they embarked on their climb up the leagues and was chuffed for them. At around the same time, they were Donny fans in my workplace, who aimed nothing but hate and vitriol towards the cub I love. I had to bite the bullet as back then they had the upper hand on us and we suffered a couple of crushing defeats.
The tide turned when we won the play offs in 2006. Their frustration in being unable to overtake us in the football pyramid is all too evident. The copious amounts of Humble pie eaten by former chairman John Ryan and their deluded fans when claims of a sleeping giant were blown out of the water when they struggled to get 10,000 home fans at their new stadium despite reaching the 2nd tier of English football for the first time in over 50 years.
I could go on and on, but this reply is long enough.

    not to forget them ...

or one or two of their fans calling the club... the 'Arsenal' of the north... I still pull a hernia to this day when I think of that statement.
