We'd need a run as good as the last one and some other results go our way for that to happen . Not impossible but I'd be more than delighted at this stage to be given a chance on promotion through the playoffs. Anything else is a massive but would be a very welcome bonus.
Can't see it me self walsall look to have picked up form now they have sacked o dismall too. I think top 2 is out of reach. If we hadn't lost 8 on spin earlier it would be a diffrent story
Tyrone your optimism is admirable. Your grasp on reality is less so. If we end up in the playoffs it would be a miracle. That is enough for any bfc fan.
This. 10 points off with 27 to play for, it's not going to happen. I would absolutely delighted with 6th though.
I certainly agree with your last sentence. Had we git rid of clown Johnson earlier then it would be inevitable. However,it's definitely achievable
I hear what you say but kinda disagree Tyrone. the result for us ending in a draw would have been the Millwall game IMHO and a shock win for Colchester woulda been nice today too. therefore closing our gap on them both even more.. Had we not had that terrible run before Christmas then we may have had a shot at automatic. But for now we should concentrate on cementing a play-off place and anything else is a bonus. The Johnstones trophy is not a given ... Oxford are in very very good form right now and , like us, are brimming with confidence and hope. I would be more than happy to win that cup and be in the play-offs....and I would call that a very successful season too, even if we did not get through the play-offs.
Well he's a clown who, it seems to me, took his time but eventually well and truly ran the circus. He seems to have done well down in Bristol. 6-0 did they win today? Hardly slapstick.
I don't give a flying **** about Bristol city Just wised they'd have been daft enough have taken him earlier Preferably some time before he took us on our worst run for 60 years. You appear to find that that was satisfactory, which is bewildering
You keep harking back to blaming him for the bad form then totally ignore his role in our current form, bizzare imo
Re: slowly but surely within this thread Glad Wigan won myself Let them get second then there's nowt to beat in playoffs Wigan would be the only team I fear going into the playoffs. Murdered us at Oakwell
Re: slowly but surely within this thread TBF DT He did his emerging to that role way way before this thread.
but he is also the man who is largely responsible for our current squad, it took time to gel... and that's a huge understatement.. but it has now and is paying dividends. I wonder what your feelings were towards Danny Wilson in his reign in the 90s his head too was called for, but patience was had and we ended up in the Premier league... A certain Alex Ferguson was also hunted by the 'Instant Success' lynch mob... look at what he went on to achieve. Johnson is certainly no clown , the run we embarked upon was mostly under his regime, so just take a long think Tyrone... or maybe subscribe to some kinda sky tv club.
