    Sorry if already mentioned, whilst at work i had Radio Sh*§field on and a Donny fan openly said whilst trying to defend Ferguson, Look at Barnsley and they aren't my favourite team they should have stuck with/not sacked that bloke that went to Bristol City, err he left wazark ! then he said they should be max 2points behind us !!!!!!!! based on what yer pillock ? yeah they have had some results in the past against us but it's my belief every time they come to Oakwell( especially last season) they are the worst team i have ever seen by some distance !
    I know a few Donny fans, i won't say a lot because The Rec nearly get as many at home games, and i have never minded them like Rotherham as opposed to say Weeds, or both Dem lot from Darn Deer but much like Rotherham are now they got above there station and think they are bigger than they are !

    Think his point was that we stuck with LJ through the bad patch and results got better and that they should stick with Fergus Jr.
    I'm sure he is the muppet who moaned several times that it was £25 on the day at Oakwell despite it being less if you booked in advance. Very bitter man indeed!

    He said Doncaster should be 2pts behind Barnsley and not what could possibly be 2 divisions. In the context that they're a similar club, but we are looking at promotion (with sticking with a manager) where they relegation. Don't think he was talking actual pts in the league this season. It's the level he feels Doncaster should be and Barnsleys an example of what they should be following. I'd take that as a complement, he could have said they should be 2pts above Barnsley.

    TBH in relation to the usual guff and rants on there I think he did quite well. In essence he was saying they are a similar size club to us and should be similarly placed not at the bottom of the league. He only used the 2 points example because that was potentially the same number in divisions that it could be and that like us they should back their manager.

    The fact that he supports donny but feels the need to mention us (often in a derogatory manner) every single time he's on radio Sheffield means he's insane and needs therapy for his obsession.

    He needs to focus on his own club - you never know it might help him mentally !

    In fairness to him from a budget point of view Doncaster should be able to compete with Burton, Walsall & Gillingham.

    Why? If I was a Donny fan looking at the population/catchment area I would expect to be at least similar/.

    But they arent. Noone can say otherwise, either in terms of attendances, history, facilities or any other way. League 2 is where they belong and I've waited a very long time to see them back there.
