Villa Newcastle or Sunderland who ever comes down ( maybe both ) Wednesday Leeds Wishful thinking I know but gets you excited doesn't it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It'd up the atmosphere for sure. Before that, it'd be nice to see us fill a few away ends before the end of the season if we're going for promotion. Vale, Dem Blades and Wigan will give us whatever we want if there's demand for it as they've got huge away ends. Let's get behind them.
Burton away will be a sell out I reckon. New ground. If we're still in the running etc. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Won't take no more then 1000 to vale Sell out at Burton 3500 blunts 3000 Wigan That's if we are still in running for play offs I expected a sell out at Fleetwood but not even 1000 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
997 at Fleetwood. We have the 5th best average away support in the division. http://www.onefootballforum.co.uk/index.php?threads/league-1-away-support-thread-15-16.5/page-162
People have been to fleetwood already earlier on in season and with Vale I think people could be put off with the trouble that happened last season.
We sound like Wednesday fans with the excuses Well we have been to Wigan this season so excuse waiting for us there Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
We should have in this league with the homes gates we get Our away support isn't bad but only since we have been in league 1 Remember when we took less than 300 to Leicester away in championship Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
My reason for not going was I have already been blackpool ealier in season. And if I'd have gone fleetwood would have ended up there before hand. As for our attendance in championship people were sick of getting beat week in week out.
That doesn't tally up because we were losing week in week out up until December haha Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Haha you do have a point there, also I think we would have took 4k+ to bramall lane if it was a 3pm kick off and if we still in play offs. Hopefully around 3500 for 12.15 they won't have nothing to play for come that day though.
Research is a wonderful thing. Our average away following is very similar this season to what it was in our last season in the Championship.
Never forget once upon a time we were lucky to fill a coach (if there was enough interest to even put one on) and you sometimes had to shout or at least talk very loud if you were talking to the nearest fan to you at home games. Worth bearing in mind when moaning about levels of support (ours or others) we were lucky we grew others stagnated or went the other way, there but for the grace of God or summat.
Doesn't really bother me how many the away fans take. I was perfectly content with 79 Fleetwood fans. I would however love the away days at St.James's, Villa Park etc.
Would we love the prices of said away days though??? In fairness the Championship holds some potentially wonderful occasions next season, big clubs, massive followings, great grounds etc. Only drawback is the prices that will almost always be high end £20's or £30's. Of course I want to go up, but paying £17 to stand on a terrace at Burton looks good next to £36 to be sandwiched in a corner at Derby/Middlesbrough/Ipswich/Leeds/Cardiff/Forest/Reading!
