This week featuring a review of the Fleetwood game and details on the idea behind our charity project. Don't take offence take a gate.
I'll be making a rare visit to Redfearn's Bar on Good Friday in order to purchase one of them there records, young Andrew (not forgetting the special Wembley edition of WSB). Has your neighbour completed his gardening, yet? I can't believe you actually get criticism for these podcasts, mate. Keep 'em coming, I love them. If some folk don't, then tough coprolite.
An Oxford fan messaged me saying it was lovely that some lads suffering from dementia had done a w**k song for charity. It takes all sorts, Kev. I need the bad comments, it creates a narrative. I won't be there on Friday. Ken Morrison sez no. Shame. I'd have been in my element, lapping up all the attention. Because I'm conceited and that. Thanks for your kind words as ever old pal. I'm off now to drill some holes outside for an hour...
Uncle Ken still in charge of your rota Andy ? Top Effort Mr Marmite. We have a number of "good things" happening at the `well. bart time the fence sitters - the critic brigage - the keyboard tappers and the awkward brigage joined in and supported or is it easier to not ?
Exactly. No idea why he would get stick for them. No offence to Whitey but I'm not really a fan of them in general simply because I don't really enjoy that kind of thing but I have enjoyed a couple when I've particularly wanted to hear his thoughts on certain issues. It's just the whole podcast idea in general that I don't enjoy (rather than it being whiteys podcasts that I don't) but that is just personal opinion. Quite why anyone would give him stick for it is beyond me. Don't like it, don't listen. Simple. Likewise I'm not keen on his song (oh come on he's a good bloke but he's hardly the next Sinatra is he) but how anyone in the world could ever possibly make a negative comment about a group of people who have done something for charity is a special kind of idiotic.
He's a slave driver is old Ken. Even though he's nowt to do with the company anymore but hey, I don't want to spoil the narrative. And tha reight, Derek. Bloody Raymond Brammer spotted me Saturday, "sing us a song Whitey". I'm aware that some folk hate charity and folk begging etc. But at least with stuff like this and WSB you're getting summat for it. We're not just asking for coin pure and simple. (I'll be there for you.. Hearsay)
Why didn't tha just say - "podcast's ****, song's ****"? And I'd have agreed n all. I gave up wondering about folk a long time ago though. I'm actually more annoyed by folk I know who've ignored it. As I say int podcast. How hard is it to click share or retweet? Same lads that'll say "heyup Whitey" next time I see em. Couple of lads at work who can't read a word of english and won't have a clue what they've shared, they've shared it on facebook because they're good lads. Bloody foreigners, coming over and sharing stuff that my friends and family waint.
Agreed. Doesn't take two seconds to share it does it. And I don't think they're ****, I just don't enjoy podcasts in general, yours is actually the only one I've enjoyed listening to a couple of. The song however is well and truly **** but its been done by blokes with hearts of gold for very good reasons so I'll be buying a copy anyway
I'm not but I might make myself an account (or activate my old account if I can remember the details) just to share your future number 1. By the way, next time you should make a single or album that sticks to the chart entry rules religiously. You could actually get it into the top 40 fairly easily
My nan passed away after suffering with severe Alzheimers for many years. It's a horrible disease and one of the things I personally fear the most in the future. Despite this, I wasn't previously aware of BIADS. Thanks solely to the Wembley song/CD I am now aware of their great work in Barnsley. Great stuff Whitey and the other lads involved and BFC for helping it along. I've now made a donation to their Just Giving page and will set up a monthly payment to help them continue their work in some small part. If you the inclination and can afford to do so, please donate too. Up the Reds. Up the BIADS!
The only podcasts I ever listen to are BFC connected ones, but I've always enjoyed Andy's. I especially like the way he can suddenly shoot off on a tangent without any warning! The reason I'll buy the record is the great cause it's raising money for. You're right, though, mate, he's no Ol' Blue Eyes.
I'm retired, old mate, so Friday is just another day for me. Don't know whether I've ever mentioned my retirement before?
The reason I'm buying one is because I feel it's our civil duty to get as many copies of possible off the streets to stop them falling in to our kids hands, the untold damage it could do their ears doesn't bear thinking about. So please please think of our children's future and buy this CD
Means a lot that, Miles mate. Makes the graft worth it. All sales of WSB this Friday go towards the same cause too. What's a fiver for 8 BFC songs and 32 pages of BFC nonsense?
On repeat, for four hours, darn to London. Full blast. Might bang the remixes on n all if tha lucky. lovely person.
Why....what have I ever done wrong to thee.....to be fair the tune is already lodged in my head...*******s
Wait til me and Matt have had a few (just after we pass Meadowhall) and do a live acoustic rendition. ******* hell mate, you're lucky to have mates like us.
Luckily tha's got a mate like me cos I actually like it and I'll be joining in....but you'd be worried if I didn't take the piss :-D
