I am sure someone on this board yesterday said Barnsley is full of racists and was reported as being the most racist town in the Country!!!

Funny that as apart from a few Neanderthals I never thought it was any different or worse than to loads of other places I have been in my life and in the case of one or two, a lot better.

Apologies for being dense but not sure what you are implying with that response.

My OP was highlighting the fact (using a little irony) that someone yesterday was quoting an article and a comedian as sources to reinforce his view that Barnsley had a high proportion of racists. My response was to counter that with a single example of the someone stating his experience was the clear opposite as an example of selective evidence to fit opinions. I did not know at the time that it is actually a recognised concept with a 'name'.

Thought fans liked him when he was first here. His first month he was off the pace fitness wise but showed some skill. His second month when he was match fit he played really well. Lets hope his injury doesn't mean it will take him too long to get firing again.

 

There was a fan near me at Fleetwood making monkey noises at Shola Ameobi when he went down in the box. We do have an idiotic few.
