MOTM for me, turning into a pretty decent player

Solid as a rock today. I'm still not a fan of them throw ins though

I'd have stuck with the Twitter MotM Williams. Though Roberts did have a good game. Nearly got sent off though fortunately the ref who was poor for both sides shoewed a bit of common sense for the foul a few mins after his booking.
    Nice to see white back.
Mawson had a poor game though

I though he ran Williams a close second, but he was very good today, missed virtually nothing in the air and was unlucky with his header on goal

Williams thoroughly deserved man of the match but Roberts did have a very good game. I thought he'd scored with that header, what a save that was

I'd have been annoyed had he got a 2nd booking for that high foot when there were 2 in the first half (one for either team) that didn't get a booking.

At the same time I thought he was seriously lucky not to be sent off. Looked like a clear swinging elbow from my viewpoint (doesn't mean it was deliberate like).

Thought he was off as well mate, still don't know how the goalkeeper saved his header

'Straight at him' if you speak to Waddington!

Was fully expecting a straight red.

The challenge for his first booking? I thought he got a little lucky with that one, but couldn't really see it from where I was. Didn't appear to play the ball at all.

Yes, the first booking (should have made that clearer). Didn't play the ball at all, did the usual arm in front of the attacker move to slow them down but it looked to me like he threw a full elbow in their player's face unintentionally. Couldn't have argued had it been red.

No it was straight in front of me and he didnt elbow their guy in the face. He did deliberately block him though and made no attempt to play the ball. A yellow was correct

Very rare his throw ins cause the opposition problems and we waste our own time him having to jog over to take them. Personally if we dropped them to only use when we were losing and/or desperate it'd prefer it so we became less predictable.

The other parts of his game are good though. He rarely loses in the air and is a solid CB. I'd have him in the POTY top three at the minute with Hourihane and Mawson.

Thought he had abit of a stinker to be honest. Tried too many times to try and be a footballer. You can't play son, stick to being a defender. When tha teams a throw in,keep it away from keeper. That's all
