    It's going to be tight..
over the last 7 we are still top of the form table..if it were replicated we would take 3pts off Bradford , 4 off Millwall 5 off Walsall and 8 off Gills.(Gills have a game in hand though. Walsall 2 games , so I've added their current ppg's))

    Looking like this..

Walsall 79 (82/3 at current ppg)
    Barnsley 78pts
    Bradford 77
    Millwall 77
Gills 74 (75/6 pts at current ppg)

However if we go to last 6 games it could look like this, with the last one to play
Walsall 79 (82 pts at current ppg)
    Millwall 77
    Bradford 77
    Barnsley 75
Gills 74 (76 pts at current ppg)

Throw in to the mix that Gills who have picked up over the last three games, play both Walsall and Millwall , and Walsall play Bradford...add to that the fact that Walsall are firing again now SOD's gone... hopefully the last few weeks will see us return to playing well with a full squad again...
and my conclusion is...anything can happen.

Bradford and Millwall both have a slightlier easier finish on paper, but fortunately the game's not played on paper.

obviously we've got a great chance, but i still have us as slight outsiders, just on points alone. i could see it going to the last game, which gives us the toughest game we could possibly imagine. especially if wigan need a result to clinch automatic.

I'd say Gillingham have the toughest run in of all the teams in the play offs.

Or even a result to win the title. Hopefully they will have both by then and already be on the beach

Of course in our dream world we win 5 of the next 6 and the Wigan game doesnt matter for either side

Aye. Actually, if Wigan and Walsall were watching burton last night, they will both be fancying the title. **** knows how burton are where they are. Well I do, JFH. I'm fancying Clough to guide them into the playoffs. I'd take them finishing 3rd and us sneaking 6th

Yes, like Oxford away in our Premier League promotion year. Promotion secured, guard of honour onto the pitch at the Manor Ground and thumped 5-1.

Could be a similar situation with Wigan having already popped their corks allowing us to sneak up on the outside and grab the three points that we need for SECOND SPOT.

Ok, that might be an unlikely scenario but a top six place is ours to throw away I reckon. Just need to keep the nerve.
