    About time I say. Clearly been racist for years, the shows crying out for diversity and will certainly add to it audience as a result. White Talking minature trains is no longer fully representative of british society.

    And in the cartoon they're all going to be grey, like Thomas. They will just have paintwork which reflects their countries. It's almost certainly a case of the toy company wanting to make the brand more marketable in developing countries (the characters will be from Brazil, Mexico, China and India) than "PC gone mad."

    Besides, I can't fathom why anyone would be upset about adjusting a children's programme to teach diversity and tolerance. Complaining about that is "PC gone mad" gone mad.

    I loved that programme as a young lad. Just thinking about the theme tune now. Haha. Loved it.

    No opinion unfortunately on this topic other than that. Amazed someone has started the thread if I'm honest. However, it's allowed me to recall that theme tune so I'm winning anyway.
