How is it mind boggling. The first half of the season under johnson was piss poor.

Even if that first half would have been just average we would have been nestled firmly in a playoff spot and probably challenging for automatic.

But it wasn't and if we miss out that will be the reason

And the blame for that is entirely, completely on Johnson? And none of the good stuff that happened after was due to him?

Its quite funny this - those who didn't like Johnson can only see the dire run of games we had in the Autumn and completely ignore the fantastic run we had under him starting in December
A bit like the football managers who didnt see the bad challenge made by their player but definitely saw the red card the ref didnt give when the opposition transgressed

You cant have it both ways and lets face it if at the start of the season you had been offered 7th place and being the form side with 7 games to go and a JPT final you would not have been too devastated

But the second half has been fantastic - the best run of games we have had in 30 years - can't LJ take some of the credit for that

Not at all, and yes he has to take some credit for the turnaround, along with whoever got him adam hammil and changed his mind on the 1 up front policy. Im merely suggesting why i dont think its mind boggling, like you suggested, and giving my reasons why

No where in my post did i say i didnt like johnson. For what its worth i didnt call for head during the bad run, although i must admit i wasn't overly fussed when he went.

I do however understand why people have the view that tyrone1 has, and to some extent i agree, and i commented accordingly

Here's how I see it. Lee Johnson was a terrible manager and the upturn in form came when Patrick cryne 'suggested' signing hammill and when Johnson finally (for whatever reason) bowed to pressure and adopted the formation that the entire world told the clueless idoit to play.

Fact: (opinion) if any of the fans in the stand were manager this season we would not have been worse than Lee Johnson

Perhaps Cryne should be manager then...? :D
