Am I the only one who really likes him? He speaks so mucn sense and you can tell he is passionate about his beliefs. He's not one of these 'politically correct' robots who sensors everything he says. He loves the UK and would certainly make an interesting president!

Oh and he is not in anyway racist or anti-muslim. He just wants to take the drastic action required to stop this evil once for all.

Don't forget encouraging his supporters to physically attack any Opposition. I suggest you look a lot closer to his country and what he represents to find evil.

He doesn't have any 'beliefs', other than his wealth makes him great. Genuinely unintelligent man. I doubt he actually knows a single thing about what's going on in the world. He will say whatever 'belief' the numbnuts want to to hear. When pushed on detail, he resorts to either a) personal insult, or b) starting up a 'USA, USA' chant that his supporters can join in with, simply to deflect his complete lack of understanding.

I'd love him to be president for a week it would be hilarious. Don't get me wrong longer than that we would all be dead but a week would be funny.

He's a spoilt little rich kid with no morals and thinks he can go around insulting and abusing anyone he wants. He has the maturity of the average toddler and I'm sorry but yes he is racist and bigotted in every possible way. He is absolute scum and everything that is wrong with this world.

You have to laugh at the socialist worker echo chamber that is the BBS. If I'd been asked to predict who the first half-dozen respondents would be joining this thread to rail against the original poster's thoughts, those first four prize-guys would have been on the list.

To answer your original question OnGoingCloud, no you are very clearly not the only one who thinks Trump speaks a lot of sense, it certainly looks like a huge number of American voters agree with his views on a great many things, including his disdain for political correctness. Funnily enough his treatment at the hands of the liberal political establishment (and all their liberal media cronies) bears striking similarities to how Farage and UKIP were treated on their way to gaining four million votes at the last election - would have been millions more too of course had the right wing majority in this country not voted tactically to ensure we all dodged the fiasco of a Labour/SNP coalition.

Name 5 actual actionable policies he has that you respect other than the fact he has the balls to be overtly racist while you sit there behind your cowardly shield of "pc gone mad". Trump got into the race entirely based on Obama's birth certificate and is now just throwing up buzzwords with no substance for snarling cretins like you to feel like it's the 70s again. I bet you hark back to the glory days of the 1960s when as Stewart Lee says the conservatives didn't have to mask their inherent racism with such creative language as with the slogan "if you want a n***** for a neighbour, vote Labour.". Ah, the glory days before all this political correct brigade came along hey red west/ cloud? Is it the comically cartoon wall he always harps on about that would by reasonable estimates cost well over 3 times his largest estimates of £12bn, tear through American people's property on the border (ruining livelihoods worse than Bush's fence) and cost as much to maintain as it did to construct? By the way, most illegal immigrants in the US are not there through jumping across the border they are there through overstaying visas so even that ludicrous idea has limited impact.

I don't know you, so please don't take this personally. But the man is a fcukin maniac, and anyone who follows him deserves to be thrown into a very deep canyon.

It's absolutely frightening that he could actually be president. Frightening.

The thought of him being President is terrifying, but I actually thought he came across less crazy than normal in the interview with Piers Morgan. In fact, he was nothing like the shock headlines and feelings you read from news channels/friends over in the States.

First of all the guy is a lunatic...for sure.

HOWEVER - like UKIP in the UK the electorate want something done - there is a problem - the establishment won't address the issue and hide behind the equally cowardly shield that anyone who wants action is a racist bigot.

    So which do you choose.

Inaction and continuation of the spiral of decline and errossion of the nation and values.

Or corky the clown doing random unworkable stuff but at least having a pop at addressing the issue.

Sleepwalking into oblivion seems to be the option of choice of the sophisticated establishment guardian reader.

Unfortunately, as much as I'd like to see it - he can't be elected for a week to give the establishment the shock to the system they need - and four years of Trump is a truly terryfying prospect.

But we don't have a say anyway - so lets just buy some popcorn and enjoy the show.

Think he'd be a perfect nemesis for Kim Jong-un.

But back in the real world :nails:

"He speaks sense"? He rambles on like the drunk lunatic in the pub!
And “he’s says what he believes”.
Depends on the time of day, he’s said one thing in the morning, said the opposite in the afternoon and then when an opponent has pointed this out he’s called them a liar!

He’s suggested that Muslims should wear a badge to identify them (does that remind you of anything).
He has no substance – he just spouts things like “They’ll be so dead, you won’t believe it”
He has already stated using “waterboarding and more” – i.e. completely flouting all international law.
