    Following on from the earlier post...........'Which foreign country has had most supporters at Oakwell for a match'?

    Which other team has had most Barnsley people at a Barnsley match ?
    And when you list them...........please realise that these are our business competitors.

    That is to say, the team that drags most business away from Barnsley and in doing so limits the success of Barnsley Football Club.

    In other words most people from Barnsley at a non home match. Probably the semi v Cardiff. At a non neutral venue then v Liverpool early eighties.

    Sad to say - but I know that on occasions a large percentage of the away end has been occupied by people originating from the Barnsley District - but supporting the away team

    I went to a Pontins League match at Oakwell one Tuesday in the late 80's. I'm guessing there were about 1k from Tarn there that night, but it was a long time ago.
