I'm really pleased that some of you lot on here are not responsible for managing / coaching and motivating our team and this group of players.
Today we lost to a good well organised chezzie team. Whilst it looks like it was an error of judgement to drop jud I can see Heckys logic. Breezy has pace and I guess the plan was to negate the pace of ariyibi. We battered them second half and the irony is we were by far the better team in that half than the first and yet we lost. it didn't work out for us today and the luck was against us but we move on.
There's some harsh comment on here which is unjustified in my view.
With our impressive management team and this exceptional group of hungry and talented young footballers the play offs are still well within our grasp. Keep it positive and move on. With six games to go there will be so many more twists and turns before the season ends. This last game won't define our season. The top six and those on the edge of the top six will have many ups and downs over the next month and a half.
Personally I'm looking forward to a Barnsley Rochdale play off final.

Ps I'm still hoping Bristol city come down but that does look unlikely.

Ppps great to see Oxford bounce back today for my close buddy wakka an Oxford n'er say die who was gutted last week.

    UTR!!!

It's not easy for me to be positive because other than 05/06 I've never seen us going into the last games of a season fighting for promotion. I didn't get to experience the highs of the Premier League, the promotion winning season that came before it, or the 99/00 play off year. It's always either been worrying about relegation or worrying about nothing. I thought this season might just be different. Instead it looks like another damp squib, all but ended by losing against a 10 man side at Oakwell.

Fair play to anyone that can be positive after today.

It was one of those games but we still have eighteen points to play for. The season is far from over yet.

If you mean by "one of those games" that we were unlucky not to win then I do not agree.

More a case of nothing really went for us. Hitting the post, blatant penalty not given, poor decisions in front of goal. I do think we were unlucky not to win but it happens.

We hit both posts, had a strong penalty shout, made their keeper make some great saves, had one cleared off the line. They had 3 decent chances and scored twice.

    I'd call that unlucky.

Fat lady and all that . So much still to play for. Teams other than us will drop points. We fight on until it's not possible.
