Awful wasn't he. Be a long time before you see a hand ball as clear not given he even leaned into it ffs.

 

In a world of poor refs he was a particularly ***** one.

He was really pissing me off at times it was as if we were playing against 12 men

 

We've had worse, our penalty shouts were out of sheer desperation.

No they weren't. They were penalty shouts because they should have been penalties.

 

Handball would have been harsh, ball to hand from where I was sitting, and Toney went down looking for it.

He was ******* diabolical. The hand ball was a blatant penalty.

 

Give over were do you sit the 1st one was stonewall hand ball he even lent his body and put his arm into it. Not sure about the 2nd but don't know how you don't think the 1st one was a penalty. Stonewall for me.

I sit in ponty pretty central to the goal, my recollection is he had his arms down by his sides, would have to look at it again, to be honest it was a feeble effort from Winnall in the first place anyway.
The other penalty shout Toney had no chance of getting to the ball, too high for him so he threw himself down looking for it.

I thought winnall may have had a chance to be in but instead protested for a foul on toney which I didn't think was

Handball was stonewall. The challenge on Toney could have been given on a different day.

Always worries me when they send a ref down from the Prem to a division three game. Usually means he's fecked up, needs a rest or there's something fishy going on. Today leaves me with the feeling that all three are applicable to Swarprikc.

......And why are assistant referees called assistant referees when they do **** all except give throw-ins and offsides (ie linesmen)? Novak blatantly elbowed Mawson twice, once violently in the face, in the space of minutes right in front of the West stand guy in the first half. He saw both and daren't do a thing.

......And then there was the throw-in, or whatever they are called in basketball.

4mins extra time was a joke, nowhere near as much stoppage time at Wembley yet 6 mins there.

 

I said exact same unbelievable that. Was taking Tommy Lee 4 mins to take a goal kick/ free kick when they were 1 up.

 

Absolute ******** mate.

A lot of people wouldn't have seen this as I was in the east stand upper towards their fans. In the first half one of their players had their hands around the throats of one of our lads in the box from a corner.

Also, not once but twice he blew for a foul on their keeper when we were about to score. It quite simply was not a foul either time.

Even more laughable was the linesman flagging for offside when the excellent Isgrove broke to go one on one from the angle. He was a good two yards onside.

It was hard to tell from where I was sitting about the two shouts in the second half but looked pretty obvious handball to me and also a clear foul on Toney

One of the worst refereeing displays I have seen for a while. ****ing atrocious in fact. A disgrace. Could cost us.
