Have that you time wasting so and so.

I know all keepers do it in those circumstances, but to be so blatantly time wasting for the majority of the game, he was actually waiting to be booked.

Never see a keeper spend so much time tending to a ball putting it on the ground.

Just made Westley's time-wasting gesticulations all the more hilarious.

What a horrible side they were. Just no attempt to play football.

Bottom of his boots must have been very clean. Spent the majority of the match picking mud out of them prior to taking a goal kick .

i wasnt there Fred but that surprises me, i thought or at least expected peterbrough to offer much more than that. no it doesnt matter that much if they want to come and offer nothing and this allows us to beat them, 3 points everytime is welcome. but they did sound absolutely awful and dirty tonight.

He was doing it from about half way through the first half and should have been booked long before the ref decided to do anything about it.

It certainly wasn't a Peterborough team we have witnessed over recent seasons that's for sure.

    It was almost Blackwell esque

I really didn't understand the boro tactics at all. They have nothing to play for. A point makes no difference to their season at all. Even going down to 10 men i thought they might just throw caution to the wind and say **** it lets have ago.

But they played like a point would win them the league or keep them up.

but didnt they play so differently at the weekend at colchester, they won there 1-4 so why did they line up and play so differently against us tonight ?
no i dont really care that much, i only care that we got the BIG 3 points but it does make you wonder why any manager would ask his team to play so badly and then claim 'foul' and cry his eyes out.

Ben made several very fine saves on his return to Oakwell. They're 0-0 having played more than 45 minutes with 10 men. What would we expect him to do? We didn't complain about timewasting when Luke Steele held on to the ball at Huddersfield for several minutes during the great escape?

youbhave answered your own question. We time wasted because we needed to stop up. We had something to play for. Why were boro so desperate for a point

Probably because they are professional footballers and take great pride in winning a point in difficult circumstances.

Surely they'd take more pride in trying their hardest rather than trying to cheat (time wasting is cheating)

I saw absolutely nothing in the way they played last night that they can take pride from; they were a horrible team and like others have said had nothing to play for so were under no pressure whatsoever.

We were saying he would end up getting booked for time wasting but ref wouldn't ever dare show a second yellow for it. So was all going to plan

If I was a Walsall/Bradford/Millwall/Gillingham fan and I knew that Peterborough were down to ten men but decided to go all out attack away from home at Barnsley when it was 0-0, I'd not be happy. I'd want them to scrap, cheat and battle for a point that would stop us claiming all three. They showed professionalism - it was horrible to watch, but I'd want every team facing our play-off rivals to show that same level of desire to avoid defeat if they went down to 10 men.

By the way I thought they were also awful with 11 players on the park.

It was a lovely dive over the ball for our goal, he could have done kick ups with it.

And when he had the ball at his feet it was in open play.

Not arsing about and dithering at goal kicks.
