How the bloody hell does brownhill start ahead of scowen?? I really can't see what he gives us that scowen can't. Playing our best midfielder at right back is a joke.

Just a quick note on Williams. That kid is brilliant. Always puts a shift in and his work rate is exceptional. Chuffed for him to get a goal.

Pointless replying except to say he's not our best midfielder but worked very hard at full back today

A few months ago Brownhill looked class but the last few matches I think he's been very sub par.

Scowen could do a job anywhere on the pitch I reckon but I would assume he'll be playing CM next season.

Scowen reminds me of a kitten with a ball of wool at times.

Biggest win yes..all round excellent performance no. It was alright we should have had about 3 goals first half but poor finishing. This thread was based on what I see. I think scowen is 3 times the player brownhill is. Don't tell me it's a pointless thread because we won. It's my opinion simple as that. And before you start with the "even moaning when we win" comment I am buzzing that we have won. On to Saturday and another 3 points

Who would you have played at right back if Scowen was in midfield?

Scowen was my MOTM tonight. Brownhill had a good game, but his contribution is maybe less obvious than when he first arrived.

So with all our other options at right back injured who would you have played there, clown ??

And if you watch the game properly holy might see how much tidying up Brownhills does. He is much more effective in that position than Pearson ever was ...

Has anyone asked him who he would have played at right back yet?

I think someone should ask who he would have played at right back obvious question really.

Surely the chaps entitled to his opinion. Thought Brownhill was pretty good last night myself.

I prefer Brownhill to Scowen in midfield because he is more disciplined and consequently we seem to get caught on the break less frequently with him playing there than I recalled in matches where Scowen had started. I like Scowen's energy and drive, but his decision making is suspect.

By the way I thought Scowen played really well at right back and wouldn't be upset if he started there again on Saturday (assuming White's still out).

    To be fair.

We could have Williams at right back and Lewin at left back.

But I'm not the manager. We keep getting clean sheets and we won again.

There's no need to call him a clown just because he doesn't share the same opinion as you is there. And perhaps he was talking in general and not specifically last night

Personally I think Brownhill had a very rocky start when he joined us, picked up for a while and played very well but for the last month has been absolutely awful

I'm not saying we should. But if we needed a right back that is an option. To say we haven't got one and can't accommodate one isn't true
