The last of the PG Tips chimpanzees has died at the age of 48. Choppers, who was 48, played Ada in the TV adverts was put to sleep at Twycross Zoo.
He was the best with the pyramid tea bag we've ever seen, a true icon whose adverts will never been forgotten. He inspired millions of people to try tea and his acting was flawless. An inspiration to thousand of young chimps at Knowsley Safari Park who instead of breaking windscreen wipers are now making a brew. Thousands of men even named their man piece in his honour.
