What is your actual opinion on people going on the pitch anyway? I assume the 'we do what we want' post was tongue in cheek
Why stop there. Let's weed out anyone with the slightest spirit and get the gate down to about 6,000. They can then politely clap to their hearts content
Refusing to acknowledge the law and request from the club. Stopping players coming out. Stopping thousands of free tickets being given out and costing the club a lot of money in policing and fines simply to walk on some grass is showing spirit? **** me
Let's face it, if it wasn't for pitch invasions and the like, some people's high horses wouldn't get any exercise. Morons provide a social service to the self-righteous, there's probably an argument for encouraging them. Which the moral police are actually doing, but they are too far up their own arses to realise. I neither condone or condemn either party. I'm just looking forward to the match. And as for keeping off the grass, I haven't had a spliff in years.
Wonder if I pitch up at back of Ponty with my air rifle...how many I can get before they kindly vacate the pitch...
I won't be there on Saturday. Can someone please tut, grumble and shake their head on my behalf please?
I can understand blokes taking their toddlers/really young kids on for 2 minutes before players come back out, it's the fully grown blokes on their own thinking their the doggy danglers that do my nut in.
I think this is a point to consider. 3 years back. We were told the same. Not to go on etc. A lot went on. I had my kid pestering to go on. I wouldn't and wouldn't let him. But. No one was coming off. So bugger it I took him on. He met his idol and we got this. So I'm torn. But my kid had this printed out and he still has it in his room. It made his day.
I'm not having a go at you personally or owt, but this picture could easily have been taken before/after the match at the players entrance. There is absolutely no excuse to be on the pitch.
Give up man, exactly what harm is that doing? Personally speaking I couldnt give a **** if the players come back out anyway, I spend enough of my spare time watching them without clapping them walking round the pitch.
For you it doesn't matter, but for lots of others it does. I just don't get why folk can't do as they're told.
