Jason Derbyshire appeared in court earlier today for sentencing after pleading guilty of manslaughter back in Feb. He got 4 years 10 months.
"Approached his victim from behind with no provocation and delivered the fatal blow". Derbyshire has a long history of similar cowardly assaults, often with bottle in hand. What a thoroughly horrible little man.
Less than five years for ending another man's life, in an unprovoked, cowardly (from behind) attack. Maybe there's stuff we've not heard/read about, but that seems about ten years too short. Scumbag. RIP Beddy.
That's the British justice system sadly. With it been Manslaghter the sentence is weak and then to top it of the coward will more than likely be out in half that time. All wrong.

Bizarre isn't it if Johnsons sentence fits the crime you have to be looking at at least 15 years for an attack that killed an unsuspecting innocent victim
Was just thinking same Johnson gets 6 for having sex with a 15 year old. This coward kills a dad of 3 in a unprovoked attack and gets less than 5 boils mi piss.
I agree. I accept he didn't set out to kill him, but **** me, he did kill him. Because he attacked him. Life sentence in my book. 15 years is it? And all 15. Not half. Sort of message does this send out? Mental.
