If it does catch on I hope they vigorously enforce sitting in the seating areas.
As now it is absolutely farcical .

I've been guilty of sitting in standing areas before, uh oh.

If I remember rightly. WBA in the old kop. An entire 4 or 5 thousand sat down one sunny afternoon.

They should have all been slung out

I've only done it at regional games when there's been about 1,000 fans there. Sat there in the sunshine with a beer in one hand, a bratwurst in the other watching a 6-0 trouncing. Love it.

    So do I pal.

Still have a sore back and neck for swapping places with our kid so that a young lad got a better view behind us. I spent most of the game with my chin practically on the seat in front.

Good job they were missing that game. Wouldn't have looked good

The seats are removable for the standing section, but they will have to refit them for European games, which shouldn't be a massive problem for Celtic these days!

I thought they just left them in, but with the seat upright. Like the lasses wine about. We should be good at that

The ones in Germany they take out completely and just leave the railings, maybe these are different but I thought were a replica of over here.

There are different kinds in Germany. There's one where the seat folds up (just like usual) and then they lock each seat so it can't fold down, another system has seats hidden in the floor which then pull up and a third (least popular I think) has the seats taken out completely.

As ever, we have to respect opinions. To me, this is brain-dead stuff.

Perhaps there'll be a Football Grounds Deterioration Trust to fund it?
