You want to read Manchester City's guidance on taking under 5's to a football ground.

    https://www.mcfc.co.uk/~/media/Files/Club/Guidance for Under 5s at Matches v2.ashx

We want you and your child to enjoy your visit. If you are bringing a child to the stadium think about their needs first. If you can’t guarantee their comfort or safety then please think about getting a babysitter so you can relax and enjoy the game!

What if the ball hit a pregnant lass, an OAP, a disabled fan, or even an able bodied fan?

Seems to be a massive overreaction.

    Noise
Football matches are noisy events. The noise levels
    go up and down
    through
    out
    a match. Small children
    have thinner skulls
    and more sensitive hearing
and thus are more prone to hearing damage than adults.
Whilst long term damage from the noise at football g
    rounds is unlikely
    ,
    the
    peak
    sound
    s
    can reach the
same levels experienced in a nightclub.
Ear plugs or muffs may help to protect their hearing and ear muffs
in particular may also help to keep them a little bit warmer.

    this part is more important

    Just my opinion mate

Why put your child in that position

Would you take an 8 week old in a night club

Same noise levels at times and full of drunken people , potential violence after the game if results don't go our way

It's a bit different at ok Well or even Huddersfield to an extent.
Huddersfield has plenty of space behind the stand rather than a narrow concourse.
Oak well has plenty of seats and room to sot down properly or **** off out the way to If they start plating up. Plus the lower East concourse is huge compared to crowd volumes
Wigan going to be packed like sardines. Half the crowd is going to be pushing pissEd. Concourse isnew exactly spacious. .. It was cosy other season when I went and we only took a few hundred.

Which authorities are these, out of interest? What will you be telling them and what will you be expecting them to do?

The bairns on football coaches dept of social services. I'd want them to come and confiscate the child then kill the parents. I was making a point that I think taking babies on football coaches is not the best idea. I'm sure the people concerned are sound parents.

But Seriously - 2 hours on a packed coach then an afternoon in a packed away end then another 2 hours coach ride ? Bonkers.

2 hours on a coach as an adult sounds bad enough.
