Before we joined 28% of the top earners paid the equivalent amount of tax as the other 72%
Now 1% pay the equivalent amount of tax as the remaining 99%

£14 million a year for a CEO of a UK company is beyond the pale. No-one is worth that unless they invent a cure for cancer, dementia, arthritis etc.

And even if the figures were right it doesn't necessarily make it EU related.

Bizzare. are you saying joining the EU has favoured large payments to CEO's?

If you look at the concentration of wealth in the hands of the few in non EU countries you see a similar story. This is a result of greed is good Thatcherire/Reaganomics nowt to do with the EU.

That it is a separate phenemonon is true to an extent, but the EU is now dominated by the same institutions and policies. Witness Greece's democratic vote against austerity and further bailouts which the IMF countered with the threat of bankruns and bankruptcy. The EU is not supposed to work like that which is why many on the left are also against what it has become

But not Jezza? And interestingly enough, not Yanis Varoufakis either!

The weather was a lot better before we joined Europe, more sun in summer, more snow in summer.

Did you ever see that some statistician once tried to prove that global warming was the cause of the increase in sea piracy? Apparently there was a statistical correlation between rising mean temperatures and rising incidents of piracy :)

Scientists have noticed that more people get skin cancer when sales of ice cream are high. Therefore, if you avoid eating ice cream, you'll be safe from skin cancer.

I'm more concerned about the Chinese economic downturn leading them to flood the market with cut price product killing local and Europe manufacturering
