Dotted double red lines 8- 9.30am and 3-4.30pm in the area around schools say 400 metres (residents passes available) and a 20mph speed limit in same area. Any good ?
I live opposite a school and regularly have my drive blocked. I could do with some of that! Doesn't matter that it's illegal, and the police would be there 5 minutes later than they have driven off!.. So now. I generally just leave my car blocking the road and there car and walk off... Even worse when there is rain!
Harper Ferry? Where'd that come from? I like the Harper bit, cos that's like Harper Lee. But not Ferry, cos that's like Tory toss Bryan and Otis his vile fox hunting scum f*ck bairn. You now seen owt til you've been stuck in the North London school run. That is proper Tabatha and Toby land. You'd want to take a tank to em!!
Shot gun be better Problem is that a) most of the parking is classed as abandonment and b) the yummy mummy's are dolled up ready to hit the soul lounge while bambino look like they've been rushed dressed
Don't be unreasonable, you're allowed to park like that when dropping off or picking up kids from school. Normal parking laws don't apply - you can park at 45 degrees across both lanes, blocking the entire road, if you want. The same principles apply if you're fetching fish and chips.
Of course. Hazard lights mean you can park anywhere, they serve the important function of warning people that you've blocked their drive, so they know not to get angry about it.
A school? Pah! You should try living across from Percy Turners! I've known people park on my drive not just blocking it!
You live opposite Percy Turners What hours is it open? It's a bit of trek from other side of town and sods law it'll be shut on the day I decide to go.
Now I've calmed down a bit from nearly getting squashed o can safely say hospital staff are just as bad.
