Ireland would be really missing a trick not taking him to the Euro's, looking at their midfield it's crying out for some more creativity and he would fit that criteria perfectly.

    What does everyone else think?

I'd agree. Given the paucity of their midfield options would be a good call.

I agree. Although the likely-hood is very low since he's never been capped at senior level. Shame.

Do we have anyone who might make a Euros squad this summer?

Ha. Feels like Stones is on loan to the Prem and will eventually come back home to finish his career.

Yeah Isgrove maybe. Tell you what would seal it. If he makes one of his slalom runs in the Final at Wembley and finally scores.

Course by then the squad will already have been decided.

He was in their last squad so there's a chance of him going. Only improved for us since then.

Isgrove's not in their training squad that was announced today so seems like he might miss out... Unless it's because we're in the play-offs. Bradshaw from Walsall's in it though.

Not even in the 35 man squad named for the friendly vs Netherlands. Yet Calum O'Dowda of Oxford United is...

Something deeper than football keeping him out the squad. Has to be.

Got to feel for Conor. Taking him to the Euros is maybe a long shot but to not pick him for a friendly and call up O'Dowda (who is English born too) is rotten.

Hope Conor has a string of worldies in the three play off games and leaves the selectors looking daft.

    They all are aren't they?

Seriously though, I mean it's not as though they won't stoop lower than League One so how's he not got a look in? double figures for goals again and probably same for assists.

As I type this I just realised the match v Netherlands is May 27th. Perhaps O'Neill isn't chancing calling him up as we may at Wembley 2 days later....

Afraid it's unlikely. Westwood, McGeady (Wednesday), Christie, Keogh, Hendrick (Derby), Meyler (Hull) are all in there.

    Martin O'Neill hates BFC.
