    Close to a sell-out.

Wonder if they're opening the whole of the west stand up?

Did we not give Walsall all those tickets (which they're barely going to sell half of) so it wouldn't have to be made all ticket?

Also, West, East and Ponty ends hold around 16,500 between them. We've sold just over 12,000.

May as well have given Walsall 2,000, made it all ticket for them and opened the rest of the North stand up for home fans.

Edit: We've not even opened up the other half of the west stand. Nowhere near a sell out.

Not done yet - Just looked online and half the west is still shown as not available

Really not sure why it cant be pay on the day if we sold 12000 now - there is still 5000 more we can sell if we open up the West fully

Didn't it say well over 12000 home tickets already sold. Poor from them still expect them to shift 3k tickets as they sold that for port vale on last game. 12k home fans a syp get nervous and call it to be all ticket as always.

12,000 home sales and 4,000 (of which they'll not sell more than 2,000) allocated to Walsall. That's 16,000 accounted for and a good 7,000 off a sell out. Unless the closed off portion of the West Stand holds 7,000.

It's looking to be a great gate, no question, especially with it being on TV and at 5.30pm. But I doubt we're looking at a 23,000 gate minus the unavailable West Stand seats and the 2,000 tickets Walsall can't flog.

Walsall struggling to shift 2k, let alone 4k. This will put a few off, which is just a nonsense. Open the West north, split the North stand. Let folk walk up & pay on the day, ffs. This is soooo Barnsley - announce a great ticket price for a big game, then hobble it at the last minute.

You can't add the extra 2000 tickets they have add to that potential, they're hardly going to sell any tomorrow, they won't bring more than 3,000. Bizarre decision by SYP again.

Open up half of the West Stand for Reds fans wishing to pay on the day and the away stand holds 6000 so no chance of that selling out!
Absolutely no need for this. Fed up of club being bullied by SYP

Are we obliged to follow these decisions made by SYP? If not it really does seem a crazy decision and if we do then why are they getting involved in the running of a football club.

They do seem intent on trying to make things as difficult as possible at every opportunity. I sort of understand them being a little over zealous with us at high risk away games but this just appears to be nonsensical.
