It would be nice if people could take some time to write to the South Yorkshire PCC about South Yorkshire Police's attitude and behaviour towards Barnsley football club. I believe our club is being treated unfairly. The PCC is there to hold the police to account, and I believe the police do need to account for their abrupt and heavy handed approach to Barnsley football club, in particular with regard to closing the North of the West Stand for no good reason.

You can write to the PCC here: http://www.southyorkshire-pcc.gov.uk/Contact-Us/Contact-Us-Form.aspx

You can also contact him on Twitter @SYPCC, but I'd urge people to engage him in more than 140 characters.

Done. Bit of an essay but done nonetheless. Here's hoping it makes a difference

I've met Alan Billings on several occasions and he's a thoroughly decent bloke and in my estimation is as good a PCC as you're likely to get.
I'm certainly not speaking for him now , but I would imagine the stuff he's having to deal with from the Hillsborough fallout , appointing a new Chief Constable and basically trying to keep a viable Police Force on the streets in the face of millions of pounds of Govt. cuts will be much higher up his list of priorities than a few hundred seats in our West stand that will be vacant for years after the playoff semi final has gone.

It,s not just about this issue though it's about SYP,s general attitude towards Barnsley football club ( I.e moving kick-off times etc ) .

Might well be down his list of priorities but it's an 'easy win' for him. Glad he's a decent bloke though, might do something about it.
