I watch it and wonder why I'm watching it. Just can't get into it.
Maybe if the girls were wearing the tight beach volleyball shorts and the scoreboard and tv lineups gave the girls' vital statistics then I might just show more interest.
    Hey ho.

I think women's football is *****. Not gonna deny there is technical talent in there but it's still awful overall. Hit a shot on target and it's a goal

Non league standard at best and the BBC are treating like top class sport

It's England's elite women footballers, playing in their domestic cup final at Wembley. What are they supposed to do?

I think a lot of the reason you can't get into it is that they insist on having a female commentator who doesn't engage with the audience as well as other commentators out there (who happen to be male) and appears to be there solely because she is female much like how the referee, assistants and fourth official have been chosen for their gender rather than their ability.

In male football the best commentator (subjective I know) is chosen regardless of gender, the best officials (again subjective) are chosen regardless of gender and both male and female officials have been selected at the top level but in women's football they are chosen based on gender and it gives the whole thing a amateurish false atmosphere which actually only serves to cause it to lose respect rather than gain

Today we have a decent male commentator just the pundit is rubbish but you get that often enough in the men's game
actually I am enjoying this more than I expected Different standard of play to the men's game but enjoyable just the same

I don't mind them showing it on telly but it annoys me when the BBC sport website has article headlines like "Man City sack manager" and then you click it and it turns out it's the women's team.

Are the goalkeepers still absolutely rubbish? On the evidence of the world cup, my mum is not much worse than Karen Bardsley, and she's 63 and 4ft 11.
