What concerns me is that we have the same clown refereeing the second leg at Walsall. Who knows what he and his incompetent "Did I get this right?", linesmen will come up with next ! Enough to strike fear into your heart at the deepest level !
I'd just like officials to front up after a game and say 'sorry, I got that one wrong'. The supposed offside was a mistake - nothing more sinister. They see it once, at 100mph; mistakes will happen, we get that. But just be open & honest about them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
If the game had ended 0-0 that decision would have had a lot more significance than it has being 3-0.
True Mickey, but seemingly they are untouchable. I'm dreading what he's going to produce on Thursday. Hope the Ref Assessor had words with him !
The Isgrove decision was just incompetence. They make mistakes, they're only human but ffs that was almost impossible to get wrong. The referee was bloody awful too, surely he can't be as bad in the second leg.
We all know that Refs have a difficult job, that goes without saying, as Imer red says. Thngs have to be seen and a decision made in a split second, not easy. But that decision was so blatantly wrong, so unfair and could yet cost us. I'm taking nothing for granted. Dreading the Clown refereeing on Thursday.
Sorry, I don't blame the referee for the offside decision. He sees the flag and immediately whistles to stop play and cannot reverse that decision. As for being a clown, I thought he was average compared to some of the referees we've had this year, who dishied out yellow cards for the slightest thing.
He can change his decision actually. A referee can change his decision up until the moment the game restarts
But why would he? a linesman level with the last defender says offside the ref up with play would really struggle to change that without the benefit of a replay ref wasn't very good but I won't blame him for the Isgrove decision
Exactly, can't blame the ref for the worst offside decision I think I've ever seen. The Linesman though............. strewth
The good news - it's not the same clown refereeing on Thursday The bad news - its Darren chuffin Deadman
Referees can over rule things, if they have a good view, but that clown didn't see much anyway yesterday
He may not have been responsible for THAT decision, but look at the rest of his errors throughout the game! There he was, whistle in his mouth , looking at some non descript happening in Ponte End whilst Fletcher was being manhandled to the floor in the Penalty Box. Ponte End up in arms but would he look? No. Deliberately ignored all protests and cries and focussed on some non happening event elsewhere. He was utterly determined not to look when all Ponte could see what was happening. That's when I realised there was summat not reight! Story of his refereeing in whole of the match.
