    Hope we go back to singing his original song. Bit cheap basically stealing a song off another team for another player. Something more original would be much better.

    We need to give up on that song the lads in the Ponty have got it all wrong.

    Credit to them for making noise but let's stick to our own songs. Wigan fans are having a right laugh at us on Twitter.

    I'm not sure about the first verse but the chorus should be sang as above ^^^

    Wigan nicked it from Stevenage/Bristol City. They sing Freemans on fire. Its a good chant, we should carry on singing it. I didnt think there was another verse, i thought it was just Winnalls on fire, your defence is terrified....nanananananananananana

    That's why my favourite moment of yesterday was Its Just Like Watching Brazil. Undoubtedly our song, but heard more in jest sung at us in recent years. Yesterday sounded like the Premiership days once again!

    You've got a point but not usually as blatant as singing it six days after hearing it at the next possible opportunity to sing it. Just rather we stuck to our own songs :)

    im not sure that was the first time our fans had heard it, defo not me. It's been going round for ages. Newcastle sing it. Even the Wigan fan on YouTube who was was credited with making it up admitted on radio that he didn't

    That terrace chat has been doing the rounds for months.
    Yes I heard newcastle fans sing it months ago.
    Each version is amended to suit the team and their top goal scorer.
    Maybe the first time it was sung when Barnsley played in a match was away at Wigan by the wigan fans about their top goal scorer.
