The few Grimsby fans I've met can't stand Barnsley and Yorkshire in general. They've got a reight chip on their shoulder. I think it's because people tend to think Grimsby is in Yorkshire, like they do scunny

2 goals in two minutes just before half-time. One foot back in League 2!

Who was the Grimsby defender we were linked with in recent years?

I really hope they go up I live in Grimsby, the support they take away alone deserves to go up! It was Shaun Pearson we were linked with his on the bench isn't the greatest player.

As spirit Dutch has said, they hate us and Yorkshire. When they beat us 6.0 they were still on about it after getting relegated in the same season.

Saw a tasty encounter there back in the early days of Wilson's first year in charge, guys jumping in the Barnsley end, using corner flag as a spear, horrible place, nutter fans, angry that they're on the coast I guess.

I wouldn't mind taking a look at that Omar Bogle. Done very well at lower leagues, got about a goal every 2 games. Got 30 in 40 odd appearances last season before going to grimsby top goalscorer
