Just common sense in my view. The funding gap between the championship and league 1 is only going to get bigger in years to come.
A load of nonsense, he called it. The idea of it being a year early. Exactly what I've called it myself. Where's Red Rain when you need him...?
When we got in the playoffs in 2006 Andy Richie said we'd over achieved. When we got promoted he said we'd over over achieved. I think that was his way of damping down expectations for the new season in the Championship. I still think it was a bad decision to sack him when we did. Hecky seems to be taking the opposite stance.
No its not at all controversial If we dont go up this season there is no guarantee at all we will next season - look at how many near misses the Blunts have had for example If we dont go up we will for sure struggle to replace Fletcher Brownhill and Isgrove and we may well lose Winnall and Hourihane and so have to start again and could easily fail again next year. If we go up we have momentum and may even manage to avoid the relegation struggles we had most years last time round
Hehe. Always reassuring when seasoned professional people from within the game agree with my assessment....
agree whenever you move up a league you have to strengthen your squad whether you have a blueprint or not
It's a view I've always thought was crackers. It's people basically saying they want to lose loads of games. And I don't believe any football fan actually wants to lose a single game Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
