    don't they charge that on match days?
    Surely they'd sell more.
    Shows me what a rip off match day prices are, as if we didn't already know.

    Because 1000 people drinking for 120 minutes is probably more profitable than what we can usually make for 15 minutes at half time, allowing us to adjust the margin on each pint sold. As well as what blivy and w1zz said.

    This and the fact that people are more likely to part with the fiver entry if a pint/pie is half price
