    Making signings early, looking prepared.

This is not how Barnsley Football Club should work! We should be waiting until end of July to make signings, not May! And even then they should be loans!

    Hecky out!

What I don't get is why we've signed so many non league strikers but don't give any of them a game.

I like the looks of Harry White, but now he's one of many.

Interesting to see which of them get in the first team

Ben and PC talked about being braver with non league signings , This ones a free and wont be costing too much on wages. I dont know what the strike rate is but there will be a percentage who dont make it ala Mike Phenix. Better to have at least had a go at finding a Vardy than watch others do it all the time

I think we'll se more of them next season as there's no emergency loan window so as and when we get injuries we'll use them then

Are we turning into a poor mans Chelsea?

Buy a lot of talent without the intention of playing them - develop them on loan and sell them for profit.

Personally, I think the 'football factory' operating model is unsporting but if we can do it within the rules and it is to the clubs benefit then it's hard to argue against doing so. We might even unearth the new Jamie Vardy though I'd settle for the new Martin Bullock or Darren Sheridan :)

I hope it's more successful than Keith Hill's turd polishing endeavours. :D

Strange how we pick up strikers this way and develop our own defenders.
I'd like to see a little investment (either internal or external) on a few strolling midfield generals.

Any 'broken toys' we fixed were nabbed off us by the bigger boys in the playground. Most of them couldn't be fixed and either went back on the scrap heap or gouged our fingers with sharp edges.

They would probably want higher wages in a few weeks time, if we become a Championship club.
