We CANNOT afford to miss chance after chance after chance like we did against Walsall and hope to win at Wembley. At times our finishing was pathetic. Winnall was nowhere to be seen throughout that match. THE PLAYERS HAVE TO MAN UP..............they need to become much more mentally harder and clinical in front of goal. And..........although Scowen is one of the best footballers at the club..........he isn't a full back.........at Wembley we need fullbacks that can prevent crosses coming in for Morison who is probably Millwalls only threat. So I would replace Scowen with White. And ...............someone tell Hammill to stop show boating and instead of trying to prove to everybody watching on the television what he can do......he needs to start to think about the whole team effort and focus on hurting the opposition more effectively.......that means instead of doing a pretty dance he should learn how to cross a ball as good as what Hourahane can do
Wrag worm not working nudge try a lugg worm instead think you'll have a better chance of a bite with that.
I disagree with you. Chances get missed at all levels. I think you know diddly squat about association football
for Tonight........Nudge....just.....PIsS........off.... and.....enjoy..........the moment.......................Cheers''''''''''''''''''''''''
I think you may have a point with Scowen. Plus Hammill no longer looks our only saviour because we now have a team with collective ability. Overall we look more than quite good.
No..............seriously concerned. If we would have taken the EASY chances we had then Walsall should have been buried in just about 10 minutes of that match. We cannot afford to let Millwall (presuming its Millwall) into the match for one minute..........we need to bury Millwall ASAP. That means being much more aggressive in front of goal !!! If you look at the Walsall match tonight........the final score should have been Walsall 2-8 Barnsley
Peter Beagrie commented and complimented how Barnsley had great partnerships going in all positions and how effective they were.
Well..... I can't argue with the fact that we missed some good chances. But we ran out easy winners against a team who have only lost 2 games at home this year (who was that against?) We look unbeatable against ANY league 1 opposition.
the kid has a point with scowen, and its frustrating seeing him put into a position in the team that hes not used to. so what do we do, drop brownhill and put scowen into that position? its up to hecky not us, but im sure hes thinking about like we are it all the time.
