....do not calm the nerves when Walsall have 3 times as long and more to do the same. The mind of the human is a fragile instrument. Alcohol will no doubt help balance the perspective tomorrow evening.
Yeah but Liverpool's one goal in response means that any parallels to our match would result in a positive outcome for us.
mean absolutely nothing in the context of our match, we all know you can score 3 goals in a match but our game is all about us and Walsall two totally different teams in a different game
Of course it doesnt. You can keep telling yourself that. The point is that it reminds you of how easy it can be to lose 3 goals....
All anyone has done on this forum this week has done that. Here's a fact or you whingers.. We haven't lost by 3 goals since AUGUST . (This wouldn't even mean a loss either.. just extra time and penalties which we are excellent at). One game this season. Yes there's a chance we'll lose but you people are acting like Walsall are in the driving seat BECAUSE we are 3-0 up... Give me strength.
Quite agree! I actually think I saw a post saying it would be better if we had drawn or lost the first leg?! Baffling! We are in an incredible position. All credit to the players! Bar either a calamitous performance by us or a magical performance by Walsall we will be at Wembley. I actually think we'll win by a couple of goals. We had enough breakaway chances at home to make me think that if Walsall try and attack us we will get them on the break. I remember the 4 on 1 chance we spurned where Isgrove shot rather than made a pass? Think we'll have a few of them. Relax, enjoy it. Then we have a week to be pessimistic about the fact we've only beaten Millwall twice this season.....
Those large word things I find a bit annoying. And patronising tbh. Still there we go. Plus you're missing the whole point of the thread. And (big "and" to finish) you do not seem to understand the definition of "whinge". Worrying is not whingeing.
We aren't Liverpool, Walsall aren't Seville, we aren't playing in Basle etc. I could find a random football match from somewhere in the world where the away team won for example 20-0 and say by your calculations that the same could happen.
Another one. We all know the facts and that ballsing it up is unlikely (actually that's wrong cos it's Barnsley). Doesn't stop you seeing 3 goals go in quickly for a team the night before you defend a 3 goal lead, and getting you thinking........
Not in a chronological sense, no, but their one goal was certainly a "response" to Seville's three in the context of your post.
its just a few nerves thats all, i reckon every fan or the majority of fans think we've done enough. the times that we've lost by 3 or more, and the times that walsall have won by 3 or more are completely irrelevant anyway and have no bearing on tomorrows game.
Tuesday I had Man Utd to beat Bournemouth and both teams to score, got lucky with that one thanks to Smalling!! Last night I had Seville to beat Liverpool and both teams to score, today I'm having Barnsley to beat Walsall and both teams to score. I'm confident.. COYR
