...will be good to welcome you lot back in the Championship. And you appear to be the side in form from what I can see of it. The division was nothing special this year (nor last), so you've nothing to fear. Christ, we managed to be play-off contenders without playing football all season!
Hey up Jeff, I was actually thinking just the other day that we hadn't seen you for a while. Hope you're well mate. I have a sneaking suspicion that if we do get up, secure the loans and out of contract players, and make a couple of canny signings (all very big ifs!) we'll be much nearer the top than the bottom. We've got the makings of a very exciting side here.
Hiya mate. Alll good with me thanks, trust the same with you. Literally been too busy with everything going on in the last 18 months, mainly grandchildren lol. Also lost a little enthusiasm for the game in general - thanks Russell Slade for your managerial prowess & "tactical nous". Thank God he's gone. Bored rigid watching sides (mostly mine!) set up not to lose, never spent so much time watching the game on the screens in the bar - as early as the 22nd minute of one game! Seriously considered not getting a ST for next year for the first time since the mid-70s, but thought that there's no way he could remain in charge next year so relented. If you play an attacking game with the slightest of quality in this division then you'll do fine. Just look at Bournemouth & Watford from the year before last, Burnley & Boro this.
We shouldn't do too badly then if we get in the championship. Let's hope Heckingbottom keep the continuity within the team by keeping this style of play and keeping the majority of the players. And good luck to Cardiff next season.
