Getting up next Sunday - more important than getting to the Prem in 97?

Intriguing thought - but that's Lady Kaht's view. I think I have some sympathy with the view that it's a big thing to get back to our (historical) natural level.

I was philosophical, and just grateful we'd gotten to the playoffs until we actually finished Walsall off. Now it suddenly feels a whole lot bigger.

No, we'll probably yo-yo a few more times between Champ & L1 in the years to come, but I doubt we will ever, ever reach the PL again.

fair assessment seems to be about our level recently, finance a big part of that. but never say never, If we are in the championship it only takes one crazy season to happen.

Did Lady Kaht at some time during your exchange also say "it suddenly feels a whole lot bigger"?

Teams like Burnley give me hope we can one day make the prem although they can spend big now when they 1st got to prem they didn't just a well run club and are a town of similar size.

No. We will almost certainly never get beyond the Champinship again.

Or Premier League 2, as it'll be known in a few years.

If they do reorganise I think we would miss out on Tier 2. Can't see it happening as it would be financial suicide for league1 &2 clubs.
