If you've got a contactless bank card you can just use that at the gate. Tap it as you go through and tap it at the other end. Charges you for a single journey

If you've got a debit or credit card with contactless payment on it, just scan that at the barriers at start & end of each journey. It automatically gives you cheapest fares and even if you travel all over London, I think it's capped at £6.50 or summat like that. Used it from Euston to Wembley & back for the JPT and it appeared on my bank statement as £5.20 or summat.

Overground to Wembley Central is good option

Usually buy a travel card at Doncaster to use on tube in London

This sounds good, but out of the 6 of us going, there is only 3 of us with that facility on the phone, do you know if one or two of us pay for everyone?

Dunno about phones, mate - just check your bank/credit cards for that wi-fi symbol thing.

Is it quicker to go overground instead of tube?

About 15 mins overground from Euston and no crowding unlike tube

Don't buy a travel card just use contactless card at the barrier. As others say, cheapest fares and never more than travel card. Can't believe I used to buy travel card on train or arrival

Do you do two singles or does it round it up as a return when you come back?

If your going down on the train the easiest option i guess is to buy the tube tickets of the train conductor?

Tap your card on the barrier at start and end of each journey like locals do with Oyster cards and you get same rate. Saves on money and queues with tourists
