Man United had the East Side on Saturday and were allocated: The Torch, 1 - 5 Bridge Road Crock of Gold, 23 Bridge Road Watkins Folly, 1 Empire Way Blue Check Café, 12 - 13 Empire Way Crystal Club (Silverspoon), South Way The Parish, 120 Wembley Park Drive First Class Sports Bar, 125 Wembley Park Drive The Wembley Tavern, 121 Wembley Park Drive Flyers Last Stand, 45 Blackbird Hill Moore Spice, Wembley Retail Park, Engineers Way
just been looking at all them and they all look absolute *****. best one out the lot looks like the torch which looks a decent size all the others look like the greyhound down worsbrough.
Think I'll probably sup in London Bridge then just head straight to match. **** trying to get served for half an hour at a time.. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Correction, they got the pubs that are typically West Side allocated. The post I saw must have been from a Halifax fan drinking in a 'non-preferred' pub. http://www.halifaxafc.co.uk/News/article/wembley-preferred-pubs-for-sunday-3089102.aspx
It seems that the Green man is decent for one side and The Torch is decent for the other side, with a lot of pretty average, small boozers in between. Meeting friends at The Torch but may join the hoards on grass with cans from local shops! That Premier Inn has a beer garden I seem to recall. It was 'Oxford's' last time so may be ours for this game. Got a feeling Millwall may take more than their allocated pubs mind.
After waiting half hour to get served in Green Man at £5 per pop we'll be doing this too this time round
here we go. http://www.matchdayapp.com/blog/a-guide-to-wembley-stadium-pubs-and-bars/ just seems weve been given all the **** boozers, biggest looks like the torch, you would think with how big wembley is that there would be huge sports bars knocking about
I'm thinking of going to the Crystal Club which looks OK on the web site. It's situated on South Way which is at the South East end of the stadium.
